Our panic button system is designed alert the designated people that there’s an emergency situation and they can respond in a timely manor.
In any large work or living environment it’s difficult to pin points an emergency as it happens. Response time is delayed by other factors such as poor communication, access etc. With the right panic system in place any type of emergency can be reported instantly and action can be taken.
How does it work?
Our Panic system consist of a panic button, repeater and a large screen. Every end user will have a panic button, once pressed in an emergency situation the a signal will be send to the screen that will be mounted in the control room or guard room. This large display console (Screen) will show a number associated with the end user and location. They can now take immediate action to aid the emergency.
The screen is large and can show up to 999 numbers and can be seen as far as 30m away. Our system can work on any large environment but are most commonly used in Schools, Hospitals, estates, retails environments and living estates and complexes.
It’s cost effective to maintain and easy to replace as it is manufactured in South-Africa and parts are available immediately.
The frequency used to transmit the signal is different from all other wireless systems to stop the signal from jamming and has a 12 second delay on the box and each repeater to prevent false alarms therefore we know this is by far the most advanced piece of technology in the panic system industry.
When it comes to installing large-scale remote panic alarm systems in developments such as shopping malls, Residential complex, schools and business parks ,the sheer geographical scale of the installation and number of users of the system can prove to be a difficult task. Optimal remote frequency transmission and reception are essential in order to ensure the tenant’s security. This is not always easy to obtain due to structural barriers and long distances between the tenant locations throughout the center and the Security Control Room. In addition, in order to ensure swift response by security in a time of crises, clear and easy interpretation of the signals and signal locations is vital.
Most older remote panic and evacuation alarm systems were divided into six channel receivers, hardwired to a central system that reported alarm conditions to the center’s security. This meant having numerous units of hardware equipment situated around the premise and still did not always solve the problem of transmission and reception range.
A combination of our remote frequency hardware and software to create large-scale remote panic and evacuation alarm systems has proved successful in various installations.
Installations of full systems have successfully been completed at the following well-known locations in Gauteng:
Northgate Shopping Centre in Randburg, Kolonnade Shopping Centre in Pretoria and Woodlands Boulevard, Van Buuren Estate, Rynpark 1-7 old age home and Ponders End estate Roodepoort.
The system is now available in full solar with a one year services contract. This is by far the best panic button system on the market today.
